So what is Coaching?
My answer would be:
Coaching is, at its core, a trusting relationship between coach and client which, through gentle questioning techniques by the Coach, encourages the client to establish their 'next steps' towards their goal, so that they can go from where they are now, to where they want to be.
In essence, the Coach helps the client on the road to their full potential, more quickly than if they did it by themselves.
People seek coaching for a myriad of reasons.
Here are just a few examples:
Work (next level/promotion, work/life balance, conflict, change management, performance, time management, start new business, take business to next level)
Family (work/life balance, relationships, leisure, take more holidays) Hobbies (starting a new one, improving existing, taking hobby to next level or career)
Finance (organise personal finances, explore options for extra income, save more)
Health & Fitness (get fitter, leaner, take sport to next level, start new sport, improve diet.
