“Lola has so far completed two paintings for our wee family – one as a wedding gift and one commissioned, after our wee boy joined us. These two paintings mean so so much to us. The wedding painting was a rose and a thistle intertwined representing the coming together of a prickly Scotswoman and her lovely thorny Englishman! It was painted as a surprise and meant so much to both of us.Mandy, Surrey
The wellies painting was inspired by Lola who spotted our boots sitting side by side in the downstairs loo, after a long, muddy and very exciting walk in Shotover Country Park in Oxford. Lola has such a keen design eye and just inherently knows what will look good captured in a painting. I cried when she presented this one to us and was so touched by the fact that she’d captured so beautifully the muddy aftermath of an amazing mummy and ‘wee man’ hike through theJungle Maze. She pours so much love and spirit into each and every piece she does and manages to reveal the humour, emotion and story behind every subject, something I find quite amazing and somewhat awe-inspiring.
I would recommend Lola in a heartbeat…”
"I was so pleased with the painting of my West Highland Terrier "CHARLIE". Lola created an excellent likeness with only a photograph to work from.
Having seen some of her other work, especially her Greeting Card designs, she has a real talent and I am sure she will do well with this new venture."Ann Thomas, Marston, Oxford
